BREADTH OF FRESH AIR!!!

I trudge alone,

Far deep in the wilderness,

Ventured for a game or two,

Loitering deep in the wild,

Amazed at the awesome beauty of Mother Nature,

Feeling light at heart and the mind,

Scanning for a place safe and secured,

For the night.

As I settle down,

Lighting the fire to simmer my recipe.

Done with eatables,

I lay down for the night over freshly laid leaves and rug,

Keeping alongside my constant companions,

The rifle and faithful dog.

Morning descended bringing the excitement of what lay ahead,

Alongside drew a fine horse led by a native,

The ride through the countryside was enchanting,

Recording my memoirs,

A lifetime lived in those freshly unfolding events,

Of mingling with the tribesmen,

Learning through their culture and traditions,

Following their daily routine,

Feeling as one of them.

It seemed out of the world,

Not known and far from the modern living,

Time appeared to move in slow motion.

Everything seemed to happen with a purpose,

Making me humble,

Looking at the simplicity of their routine and habits,

I find a purpose and place in all the events and occurring,

As if scheduled to ink a place,

Among these simple human beings,

I visualised myself,

Old part of their clan.

As I put my feet among them,

Dancing to the tunes of their traditional rhythm,

Around the bonfire,

I seemed to relate with their story,

I appeared to have lived a fresh life.

That’s the outdoor I cherish and live,

Constantly educating and growing,

Through real life experiences,

Not available through traditional systems.

TRUE HUMAN!!!

One with endless or creative spirit,

Affluent with pious resolve,

Pauper who plays many tunes,

Wishfully or not,

That person with most value,

Must win.

One whom shadow, shape or peril,

Can’t sway,

Who does not get carried away,

By pleasures of life,

Gratified and stands fast,

Always looks forth,

With perseverance, grit and resolve,

To march till the end,

From wellness to still further,

Surpasses all boundaries.

One who walks the earth,

With poise,

Forever with noble conducts,

Will give birth to a new being.

But he/she will fall,

Umpteen times,

Will sleep many times,

Without fame,

Hence leave a Karma,

And earn a name,

Will find solace,

Within.

He/She will melt into dust,

Gathering precious snivel,

Heavens will applause,

On his/her resolve,

On becoming a true warrior.

DON’T DRAG!!!

Since things happen when we wish it shouldn’t,

Because we do things which we shouldn’t,

And our plans go wrong,

Repent we will,

As we are human,

Grumbling on things,

Which happened in the past,

Will drag us back,

So leave doubts and proceed with care,

At last things will work out,

As it’s natural to lose when we wish to gain.

Success comes after due pain,

Go on despite all hurdles,

Work along with play and life’s games,

As bright moments will come after dark times,

Do not whine as it’s wise to remain sober,

As things do work out after due efforts,

Its life’s cycle,

Sad moments turn into happy times,

So we must continue our traipse,

Dust will settle after storm.

Life’s journey seems long,

Most of us wail on life’s trials,

But we do succeed after patience and persistence.

So mend your ways if you are stuck,

As dark clouds do break and horizon turns bright,

And shower turn heat into relief,

So let the stress turn into tranquility,

Keep on working on and on,

Things do work out somehow.

UNWIND YOUR LIFE!!!

Look for outdoors that will enrich you,

With experiences untold,

It may be waiting for grab,

Round the corner,

Up the bend.

There you may realize your true wishes and dreams,

Those which may go beyond realization,

Opening fond memories and relationships,

Life’s learning and possibilities.

Pick up destinations unexplored,

Open to your views,

Scenes and experiences,

So far not tacit.

Travel to a locale magnificent and hard to reach,

With beautiful stop overs,

And you may meet wondrous beings,

Someone who may deeply touch your heart,

To share your deep-rooted feelings and apprehensions.

There you will find comfort and solace,

Know what friendship really means,

How it may uplift you beyond limits,

Enabling you to make right decisions,

For yourself,

And those near and dear to you.

So pack up and proceed on life’s journey,

Pick up each moment,

Savoring each day,

Valuing each encounter,

Your best times are yet to be,

Gone are the days passed by,

Now put your best foot forward,

Because you are yet to realise your destiny.

BEING A WANDERER!!!

Now I know, how one way leads to another,

Though I had apprehension,

Will I ever come back?

I tell this with great relief,

Lost somewhere,

For ages,

But now I am here.

Four roads diverged in the woods,

I always travelled,

On a road,

Less travelled.

To me,

That made all the difference.

A wanderer like me,

Always travel alone,

Since we are,

Seekers of the unknown.

All days begin before they end,

Sunrise never find us,

Where sunset left,

Even when the earth seems sleeping,

We travel.

CHERISH THE LIFE!!!

Talk and walk the happy moments,

Each moment,

For those cherished days of life,

Are there to keep,

As each of those may slide down your feet.

That cool breeze of moments spent,

With someone cool,

Touched your heart and soul,

Swept you off your feet,

Blossomed in your heart flowers of peace,

Keeping you safe and sound,

Inward as outwardly,

Bringing shower of pleasant memories,

For joy you possessed were you to keep,

Destined as it were,

From heaven to your heart.

Whatever happens now will,

Again be for you to keep.

Send a wish carefully,

As God may accept it as what you desire,

For small things do matter in life,

Convert grand things to occur,

So be happy as happy could be,

Flooding your mind with moments,

That you would like to be.

SECURITy WHILE OUTDOOR!!!

There are certain cautions one should keep in mind to avoid being frightened or intimidated when venturing alone.  For example, what you should do if approached by an attacker? Do not be another privacy invasion victim.

Fact is, we live in an increasingly violent society in which the fear of crime is ever-present. Personal safety has become an issue of importance for everyone.

Brought out below is some guidance everyone should know about personal safety:-

BEING AWARE IS IMPORTANT

Self-defence does not entail knowing Martial Arts. Self-defence is precursor to any actual physical contact. Most important and first component in self-defence is awareness. Be aware of yourself, your surroundings, and your potential attacker’s likely strategies.

The criminals also use most important element of attack, surprise. They pick up a target that appears to be unaware of what is going on around them. So project a forceful presence to avoid altercations which are commonplace on the street.

USE OF SIXTH SENSE OR INSTINCTS

Intuition is a powerful subconscious insight into situations and people. All of us have this gift. There is need to pay attention to it. Trust this power for availing its full advantage. Also, avoid a person or situation where you don’t feel safe.

LEARN SELF DEFENCE

Martial arts studios are best to be avoided unless you want to learn those techniques and ready to commit for long-term period. These techniques are complex and unrealistic under the stress of an actual attack. The program you should pick up should include simulated attack, building up realistic scenarios to allow you to practice what you learn.

BEST OPTION IS- ESCAPE

Imagine you are suddenly confronted by a predator who demands that you go with him — be it in a car, or into an alley, or a building. Obey, but you must never leave the primary crime scene. Run away and yell for help. Throw a rock at a store or car window. Attract attention. And if the criminal is after your purse or other material items, throw them away from you, while you run.

FIGHT WHILE YOU CAN

There may be a chance of physical confrontation. Always remember, you can and should defend yourself physically, even if you are not attacked first. Many of us worry that if attacker gets angry, he will hurt worse. The statistics clearly show that your odds of survival are far greater if you do fight back. Aim for the eyes first and the groin second. Remember, though, to use the element of surprise to your advantage — strike quickly, and mean business. You may only get one chance. Never depend on any self-defence tool or weapon to stop an attacker. Trust your body and your wits, which you can always depend on in the event of an attack.

CAR-JACKING CAN BE AVOIDED

Lock all doors and keep windows up while driving. Most car-jacking takes place when vehicles are stopped at intersections. The criminals approach at a 45-degree angle which is a blind spot and either pull you out of the driver’s seat or jump in the passenger’s seat

BE PREPARED DURING TRAVEL

Violent crimes happen in the best and worst hotels around the world. Predators may come in guise of a hotel employee. He may push his way through an open or unlocked door. He may be in possession of a pass key to the room. Never open your door unless you are certain the person on the other side is legitimate.

INTERNET SHOULD BE USED WISELY

Although the Internet is full of education and entertainment, it can also be full of dangers, if one isn’t careful. When communicating online, use a nickname and always keep personal information such as home address and phone number confidential. Instruct family members to do the same. Keep current on security issues, frauds, viruses, etc.

Enjoy your adventures!

AIM HIGHER!!!

When I think, I should do it, I have will to do it… I eventually succeed.

The energy and power of self-confidence empower human mind and body, accomplish any task.

We should never, ever underestimate our capabilities.

Take example of our daily activities, going around in our mundane lives. So many times we overcome an issue, which we thought did not have a solution and beyond our capabilities. Don’t we find solutions when we think rationally and logically?

Most humans normally avoid attempting anything when they think it is difficult, entails hazard or has risk involved. They feel it is best to carry on with normal lives and avoid taking risks. They live a bare minimum life. We normally tend to avoid discomfort, when there is fear of unknown and risk. These thoughts are very powerful motivators in our lives. This is how we have evolved and learnt from our ancestors. That is what dictates our actions making us live in comfort zones.

When we enquire and research, build our passion to attempt those activities which entail risks and adventure, we grow manifold, mentally and physically. There are many among us who do not make excuses, attempt things which are unknown and not realized/experienced so far. We look at wider horizon of perspectives in our lives. There is need to build up courage, stamina and will power to attempt which we have not realized so far. When we are not careful about what we actually want from our lives, we lose what may be important and set a wrong example to our youngsters.

When we talk about experiencing Adventure, it does not necessarily mean extremes like Globe-trotting on foot. It could be experiencing any activity or thought which exhilarates us, which pulls us out of easy living. We just need to come out of our notion of feeling impossible which actually stands for I m possible! Practice regularly, move one step at a time attempting more and more difficult activities and build up your capabilities. We just need to plan systematically and move on regardless.

Do not unduly expect wonders to happen overnight. Start in a small way. Come out of fear of failure. Do not expect too much from yourself. As you attempt different tests, you keep growing to seek more difficult ones. Experience and positive attitude do make one matured and successful. We need to set our priorities right. Do we want to end up our lives, leading a routine and easy way? Or we want to achieve what a normal person would think impossible.

To begin with, start in a small way. Keep attempting. Things will start falling in place, one by one…

PEEK OUT OF QUAGMIRE!!!

When you were busy in your wanderings,

Playing games of your lives,

Outsmarting your near and dear ones,

In your best days and times,

You forgot all those around.

When the down side of life started,

You started crying,

Its then you remembered Him,

Trying to prove,

He forgot you,

As later someone told you,

He was always there watching you.

It’s only the paths you had chosen,

Were not suited to His calling,

Making your spirit feeble,

Far from sublime.

That’s how you ran into barriers,

Making your trails not to vanquish,

As hardship is ringing the bell,

It’s time to quell,

Come back on right track,

Before it’s late and there is no turning back.

In this wilderness of concrete jungles,

There are wild creatures in human forms,

Easy to get lost and swept away,

Realise how to deal,

For language of love and care,

Prevails here too,

If you are on a journey of courage and fortitude,

Same are the proven ways to get through,

So Be Thankful In All Things.

SEEK FRUITS OF TOIL!!!

As the life is rolling up,

Espouse happiness and joy,

Keep looking for trials of trails,

New horizons to realise,

Love to share,

With dear ones,

Laughter and smile,

That brings cheer and respite,

Make chosen ways to strode,

And life will treat you better than before.

Action brings hope,

Destiny hosts,

Resolve and fortitude,

For He has fond for faith,

Shower of blessings astride,

Tame you will newer heights.

Sing when times are good,

Pray when things are not so bright,

Live your inner voice,

For consciousness is cure to all the mires,

Of endless pain,

Meaningless distress with useless commitments,

In vain no matter what you try,

Piling up deep and hard to surmount,

Count your blessings as shadows disappear,

Darkest days bring happiness with rays of hope and faith.

Pray as you move on these conduits of life,

He will provide you respite through your cries,

For He seeks bonds of intimacy,

Take away time from your schedule,

At all times focus and renew,

Your chumminess,

As He is always ready to welcome you,

With open arms.

Barriers will be to enhance fortitude and strength,

For opulence and fortunes,

Are there to grab,

Only when you are ready to embrace.
